CHANGED RELATIONSHIP STATUS (Facebook)

And so the other night I changed my Facebook relationship status from In a Relationship to Single.

Now let me clarify that that was just a whim, an experiment of sorts based on a long-ago conversation between him and me. He said no one really cares about status updates in social networking sites like Friendster and Facebook. I disagreed. We debated, nobody really won, end of discussion. The conversation popped into my mind that night and I decided to see which of us is right.

People noticed, a few commented and even he himself reacted. So I guess I was right after all.

3 of 3, check!

Addict that I am, I went ahead and got the other two books in the TRESE series last night. And finished devouring them both in one sitting. And all I can say is, THE SERIES FRIGGIN' ROCKS! Will post a proper review when I find the time, before the week ends.

Two thumbs up to Budjette Tan and KaJo Baldisimo!

discovery: Pinoy komiks

front cover

back cover

Just finished TRESE: Murder on Balete Drive, the first of three horror/crime comic books created by Budjette Tan and KaJo Baldisimo. I am not a big fan of Pinoy komiks, but this is really good. As in really, really good. In fact, it sorta reminds me of Neil Gaiman's style in the Sandman series and novel American Gods, although this is distinctively Pinoy. Needless to say, I am thoroughly impressed and plan to buy the other two books.
